Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
- verbal presentation on a given geologic topic
- presentation of bibliographic search on the given geologic topic
- presentation of the preliminary results of the Bachelors thesis
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course (and the subsequent courses), the student should be prepared for a successful defense of the thesis, which is a part of the final state examination.

  • Verbal presentation on given geologic topic (Bachelors Thesis)
  • - introduction into the problem

  • - presentation of preliminary results

Teaching methods
Oral presentation of project, class discussion about problems and mistakes. In the case of a crisis pandemic situation, the course will be completed in the autumn semester of 2020 by distance form.

Credit based on presentation and class activity.
