- Course objectives
- Classification, and natural history of the vertebrates; methods of collecting, preserving, and identifying local vertebrates. At the end of this course, students should be able to identify most of the Czech vertebrates using osteological and morphological features, mainly group which are marginalized in Bi2090c System and evolution of vertebrates - practical course.
- Learning outcomes
- Student acquires the ability to determine vertebrates of the Czech Republic according to advanced characters. They will learn to get to know the representatives of taxonomic groups (e.g. bats, passerines), which do not have enough time in the basic courses.
