Prerequisites
Basic knowledge and participation in lectures related to the light and electron microscopy.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to teach students how to work with electron and light microscopes, how to control them for the study of different types of samples, using different methods of contrast and signal generation, as well as to analyze the captured images.
Learning outcomes
Completing the course, the student will be able to:
- utilize various types of light microscopes using different types of contrast,
- utilize electron microscopes with various types of electron beam interaction with the sample and the signal collection,
- analyze and interpret captured images.
