Předmět je určen především studentům fyziky se zaměřením na astronomii. U studentů je předpokládána znalost astronomie na úrovni bakalářského kursu.

Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to acquire integrated information view on evolution astronomy; to understand and analyze individual period of historical evolution astronomy science; to understand of importance of astronomy for development of technics and human society

classical lectures; At the end of the course student should be able to interpret basic ideas of historical evolution of astronomy and demostrate importance of astronomy for human society.
