Předmět je určen především studentům fyziky se zaměřením na astronomii. U studentů je předpokládána znalost astronomie na úrovni bakalářského kursu.

Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to acquire integrated information view on evolution of astronomy; Students will be able to interpret basic ideas of historical evolution of astronomy as well as demonstrate the importance of astronomy for human society at the end of the course.
