- Course objectives
- One-week bus excursion visits a selected region of Europe, where the students learn main plant species and vegetation types, including their phytogeographical and ecological relationships.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing this course, the student:
- will have basic ideas about the flora, vegetation, biogeography and ecology of one European region outside the Czech Republic;
- know common and characteristic plant species of this region;
- recognize the main vegetation types of this region.
- 1. Pre-excursion oral presentation and written compilation on physical geography, flora, vegetation and nature conservation of the areas to be visited.
- 2. Excursion, which will take place on 12-19 June 2021. We will Hungary and southern Slovakia. Excursion itinerary and other information are available at http://www.botanicka-exkurze.cz/index.php.
