Abstract
The goal of the subject is to master advanced experimental techniques. Majority of tasks is measured using up-to-date research equipment. This imposes higher demands on students, but brings better orientation in current experimental methods.
Learning outcomes
Student will get experiences with number of experimental techniques and with processing of experimental data.
Key topics
  • optical emission spectroscopy
  • Langmuir probe
  • phase-resolved imaging by an ICCD camera
  • detectors in optical spectroscopy
  • measurement of hf. parameters by a vector analyzer
  • optical methods in characterisation of materials
  • mechanical characteristics of thin films
  • contact angle measurement
  • magnetron sputtering
