Abstract
Main objective is follow: to introduce with flora and vegetation of certain part of the Czech republic during field works.
Learning outcomes
After this excursion students should be able: - to know basic informations about ecology and plant geography of visited areas and discovered species; - to understand local diversity of flora and vegetation and methods of their conservation. - to be able to record botanical data in the field and to basically process them.
Key topics
Natural conditions of investigated area. History of botanical research. Bibliography. Field works, including floristic and vegetation records and their processing. Discussions about interesting findings.

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
Mainly fieldwork, one week (5 days), usually June

credit; processing of floristic and vegetation data recorded during the excursion and their import to relevant databases (after being handed over to the teacher)
