- Cíle předmětu
- At the end of the course, students will be able to manage creatively the adaption and adoption of international developments and research, especially in Management and Business Economics (i.e., not just “copy and paste” but adapting and adopting by “grasping the principles” which will be applied in a new way based upon a proper knowledge of the organisational context). Thus, students will be able to fit and embed their new knowledge into the local situation and cultural circumstances and generate the appropriate organisational behaviour, especially in form of corrective decision making and acting. All that will be possible because of having developed a reflective in-depth understanding of Institutional Theory, Systems Science, Epistemology and Ecology within Organisational Studies. Furthermore, students will learn about a variety of modern instruments to be used in the practice of organizational knowledge development and knowledge management. Applying in practice, the acquired knowledge can lead to competitive advantages of a firm by selecting and enforcing the support of local expertise in problem solving and by sharpening the eye for identifying local chances for the development of creativity, flexibility and innovation.
