Anotace
On successful completion of the course students
- will have practical experience with active research
- will be able to read and understand scientific papers
- will be able to employ gathered information to formulate and prove their own hypotheses within the relevant context
- will be able to present the research results in English.
Výstupy z učení
After the course the student will be able:
- present the content of scientific papers in front of students and professionals;
- to contrast conceptual issues in analysed publications by employing suitable arguments;
- to judge ideas and opinions formulated in the publications.
Klíčová témata
  • Students are expected to read and present state-of-the-art scientific papers in the area of theoretical computer science, AI & machine learning at the laboratory seminar.
  • Optionally, the lab also offers the possibility to meet regularly with senior researchers to discuss research problems and try out working on a concrete research topic. For more information, please contact the lecturer per email or in person.
