- Cíle předmětu
- The main objective of this course is to support students in writing their Master’s thesis in English. It develops on from the basics of academic writing and challenges students to write, analyse, and critique academic writing at a more advanced level. Students will engage deeper with a wide range of academic literature and think more critically about where their research is positioned within said literature. The course will also provide students with 1-1 feedback on their thesis to help develop their writing within their individual context. The course is split into two key parts: the taught part and the feedback part. The taught part consists of six seminars where students develop the aforementioned skills. Following this, the feedback part consists of three 1-1, in-person feedback sessions across six weeks, and in these feedback sessions, students get 1-1 feedback on their thesis excerpts.
