- Cíle předmětu
- The lectures present an overview of the development in the Western Balkans since 1989. At the end of the course, the students should be able to present and analyse the political challenges in all the states in the region and present an overview of the political development in the respective country since 1989 up to the present.

- Students will be able to present political development in the Balkans since 1989 and set it into the European and geopolitical context.

- The course consists of lectures and seminar sessions.
- Metody hodnocení
- Final grading will be based on three compulsory parts: 1) Presentation (16%, 15 points) 2) Paper (35%, 33 points) 3) Exam (49%, 45 points) 1) Presentation: Students are obliged to prepare presentation followed with a seminar dealing with the assigned topic. The presence of active students is during seminars obligatory. Insert your name next to the chosen topic in the google doc. 2) Paper: The length of the paper should be 8-10 pages. Plagiarism is not tolerated and the penalty can go up to the expulsion from the university. Avoid copy and paste, use as many sources as you can (at least 8) with your own words. Upload the paper into the respective folder in the information system. 3) Oral Exam.
