Cíle předmětu
The first part of the seminar will provide an overview of psychological methods for measurements of environmental evaluations, such as visual preferences, scenic beauty, restorativness of environments, landscape protection evaluations etc. The issue of using various environmental simualtions versus on site evaulations will be discussed, together with strong and weak sides of various response formats. Theoretical rationale for the various methods will be focused upon. In the second part, students will have the opportunity to do either actual data collection using these methods or to do statistical analyses of environmental evaluation data from an existing data base.
