Osnova
  • The course has an interactive nature and it is purely discussion based. The students take a huge part in creating the course, in the sense that they prepare the foundation for the discussion. Therefore, mastery of English is a must and students who have only conversational English cannot be admitted to the class. The class requires much of self-study as no lecture takes place during the class time. More detailed description will be given to the students during the first class. Students who cannot attend the first class, cannot be admitted to the class. Students who miss one class will automatically have a grade lower than they are supposed to have, and maximum of 2 missed classes are acceptable for a successful completion of the course. During the first class, students will be assign their own topic- a specific concentration or research area they will focus on and give an extensive (30- 45 min) presentation in the respective class. Students are expected to read on weekly basis (approx. 2-3 articles per week) and actively participate in every class is a prerequisite for a successful completion of the class. The overall grade will be concocted based on the following: Class presentation (40%) Class participation (20%) Essay based on class presentation (20%) Blog reports and blog entries(10%) Attendance (10%)
