Anotace
At the end of the course the student should understand the euroepean system of human rights protection at both the national and international (ECHR) level; the student should be able to solve human rights cases and present a reasoned analysis of such a case; the students should understand the basic case-law of ECHR and national courts related to human rights issues; the student should also understand the different approaches that the courts adopt while dealing with the cases.
Výstupy z učení
The student will be able to:
- analyze a human rights case under ECHR and/or national charter of rights;
- analyze a judicial decision concerning human rights;
- understand basic moral philosophical problems regarding human rights;
- write a human rights essay.
