Cíle předmětu
The primary purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the basic issues related to the International Space Law indicated in this syllabus. This information will form the basis to undertake independent student’s scientific work in this area. Teaching techniques implemented during the course will activate student in science and encourage them to conduct their own research. The teacher will indicate to students the new scientific opportunities associated with expanding their knowledge of the specific field of international law which is International Space Law.

  • • the basic legal rules and principles related to legal status of outer space and celestial objects

Výukové metody
This course is combination of theoretical issues (with emphasis on legal aspects) and work with students. Students will work with legal acts and case studies. The course included also discussions in groups.

The course is related to a new branch of law – International Space Law. Development of space industry have consequences in international law and there is a need to codify some of mechanisms referring to it. During the course students will improve their knowledge about International Law and learn about basic rules of Space Law.
