Cíle předmětu
The aim of this course is to present the issue of construction works contract in regulation, which are applying in Poland. The course will obtain presentation of rights and obligations of the investor and the contractor, as well as the architect. The course will focus on the three aspects of construction works contract: sphere of performing of this contract, sphere of contractual liability, sphere of end of this contract (rescission of contract, acceptance of works performed).

This course will help students to get knowledge of construction works contract. The lectures will focus on regulation in Poland, but it will concern also a FIDIC contract conditions, which are applied worldwide in construction process.
Výstupy z učení
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- understand rights and obligations of parties of construction works contract;
- understand scope of contractual liability related to construction works contract;
- distinguish between the different types ending of construction works contract

  • 2. Status of architect in the construction process.
  • 3. Performing of construction works contract.
  • 4. Contractual liability.
  • 5. End of construction works contract (rescission of contract, acceptance of works performed).

Metody hodnocení
Exam consisting of single select choice questions and one essay question. Student will be required to work individually during the exam. The exam will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
