Cíle předmětu
• To provide a comprehensive understanding of the current legal framework of Ukrainian private law.
• To analyze and discuss key challenges faced by Ukrainian private law in the modern context.
• To explore emerging trends and developments in Ukrainian private law, including legislative changes and judicial decisions.
• To critically evaluate the impact of international legal principles and norms on Ukrainian private law.
• To examine the interplay between Ukrainian private law and other areas of law, such as commercial law, labor law, and intellectual property law.
These course objectives aim to provide students with a solid foundation in Ukrainian private law while addressing the key challenges and emerging trends in the field.

1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework of Ukrainian private law, including its sources, principles, and institutions.
2. Analyze and evaluate the key challenges faced by Ukrainian private law and identify potential solutions or strategies to address them.
3. Critically assess and interpret recent legislative changes, judicial decisions, and emerging trends in Ukrainian private law.
4. Apply legal reasoning and analytical skills to complex legal issues within the context of Ukrainian private law.
5. Analyze the impact of international legal principles and norms on Ukrainian private law and evaluate their relevance and applicability.
6. Recognize and evaluate the interplay between Ukrainian private law and other areas of law, such as commercial law, labor law, and intellectual property law.

Metody hodnocení
Full attendance in class is required and active class participation is expected. Final assessment will be based on a written exam consisting of short essay questions. One assessment in the form of a multiple choice test and oral discussion about a previously discussed chosen topic.
