- In this course students will examine how education, society and media form one's understanding and attitudes towards diversity and inclusion. Students will develop understanding of social and educational inclusion and will be able to put into practice selected strategies for heterogenous classes.
- Výstupy z učení
- At the end of the course the student will: - be aware of the role of society and media on attitudes towards diversity and inclusion; - be able to explain basic principles of inclusive and special education; - reflect his/her own attitude towards diversity and its influence on pedagogical practice; - explain pros and cons of various forms of education of pupils with SEND with respect to the type of pupils´ special needs; - be aware of the current legislation concerning education of pupils with SEND; - will be able to use selected methods and approaches supporting inclusive education (including supportive approaches and tools); - have acquired basic theoretical and practical knowledge for individual work respecting pupils individual needs and work with heterogeneous group.

- lecture, group discussion, problem learning, assigned reading (according to e-learning sylabus), group work and work with case studies
- Metody hodnocení
- To be awarded credits, the students have to: - have at least 80% attendance; - assigned reading, fulfillment of tasks; - team project and its presentation.
