Anotace

The aim of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to become familiar with the educational system and conditions of education for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in the Czech Republic and other countries and, based on this, to reflect on the conditions in their own country. During the seminars, students will reflect on the concepts of education, diversity, inclusion.
During visits to schools and institutions, they will also become familiar with practice, and will use the knowledge and impressions to discuss the factors that influence education and access to it (not only with regard to pupils with various differences). 
Students will develop their communication skills and strengthen their teamwork skills at an international level.

Výstupy z učení

After completing the course, the student will be able to:
characterize the basic features of the Czech educational system and present them;
describe the conditions for the education of pupils/students with special needs and differences and describe examples of their effective support in the Czech Republic and in their own countries;
provide information about education in their own country to Czech students

Participation in all parts of the course:
+ active participation in interactive seminars (40%)
+ preparation and implementation of a short presentation in relation to the conditions of education in one's own country in English (20%)
+ working in an international team (20%)
+ participation in school visits (20%)
