Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to teach the student basic concepts that can characterize and describe psychological phenomena that develop out of standard, understand the mechanism of development of psychological deviations, handle the terminology of disorders of individual psychic functions and understand the psychological issues of the patients and the handicapped so that the graduate can actively communicate with   psychologists and physicians.
Learning outcomes
Student will know the basics and circumstances of the interpretation of psychopathological phenomena, especially in the social context.
Syllabus
  • • The subject and importance of pathopsychology. The relationship between patopsychology and psychopathology; patopsychology in psychology.
  • • Causes of mental disorders. Inheritance of psychic properties and environmental influences. The question of normality.
  • • Disability Psychology. Handicap and personality. Specific features of personality of the affected individual.
  • • Psychiatric disorders.
  • • Disorders of cognitive processes. Disturbances of perception.
  • • Memory malfunctions. Thought disorders. Speech disorders.
  • • Emotional and motivational disorders. Disease disturbances. Troubles of Will.
  • • Disturbances of consciousness and attention. Quantitative disturbances of consciousness. Qualitative disturbances of consciousness. Attention Deficits.
  • • Psychological examination.
