Cíle předmětu
The course aims to the developing of each student's B. A. project from the form of research proposal to the manuscript of the entire B. A. thesis.
Výstupy z učení
At the end of the course, a student will be able to present and discuss their ongoing research. In consultations with their supervisor, a student will be able to compose the manuscript of B.A. thesis meeting the theoretical, methodological and style standards in their field but also ready to defend it.
Osnova
  • The second B.A. seminar has two main outputs. The first output is an oral presentation of a selected thesis chapter at a joint mid-semester seminar. Both all the active students in the field and all their possible supervisors should be participating. This presentation is important to maintain the cross-disciplinary nature of the programme and the idea of the range of options for how research problems can be approached. At the same time, the seminar keeps the development of a student's B.A. thesis in the active collective discussion. The second output will then be the manuscript of the entire thesis, which should be finished during the exam period.
