Cíle předmětu
The course is focused on migratory flows in the geographical demarcation of central Europe since the early 90s of the 20th century to the present. Students acquire knowledge of theories of migration as a generalization of the issue of migration research communities; currently the main migration concepts; migration flows and related problems in integrating migrants into society; demand for cheaper labor; impact on demographic characteristics; refugees. What the migration causes - for the migrants themselves, in the place of immigration in the place where they came from? What are the migration policies and integration strategies migratory groups and institutions in the target countries?
