Course objectives
At the end of the course students get familiar with basic palaeoecological methods and are able to describe a discuss the results.
Learning outcomes
After finishing each student will: - have knowledge about the basic palaeoecological methods, types of sediments and possibilities of their dating; - know which method is appropriate for which reseach, - be able to create age-depth model based on radiocarbon dating; - be able to read and understand palaeoecological diagrams and papers; - be able to sythetise knowledge from several palaeoecological studies and write short text with main conclusions.
