Určeno studentům učitelství Přírodovědecké fakulty MU vykonávajícím pedagogickou praxi a dalším zájemcům, kteří absolvovali předmět Obecná a altrenativní didaktika.

Course objectives
Through a didactic analysis of sample sessions, lead the Mathematics and Science teacher candidates to:
1. rational comprehension of the scientific pieces of knowledge in the field of psychodidactics and other subjects
2. ways of their use in practice
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be able to Evaluate the teaching performance of another teacher. To diagnose the use of pedagogical psychological phenomena in teaching. To use the acquired knowledge to improve the pedagogical activity.
Syllabus
  • While watching the videos of the sample lessons, the students:
  • - search and evaluate certain pedagogical-psychological phenomena
  • - analyse real educational situations
  • They also learn to deal with:
  • - setting teaching targets and their controlling
  • - motivation and keeping students´ attention
  • - making good relationships between the teacher and the pupils
  • - effective use of teaching aids
  • - efficient use of didactic principles
  • - active involvement of pupils in the lesson
  • - meaningful use of encouragement, rewards and punishment
  • Furthermore, the students of this course are trained to be able to:
  • - choose suitable teaching methods
  • - analyse and evaluate the process and the results of their teaching
  • - make pupils learn from texts as well as from practice
  • - react to unpredictable development of a learning process and students´ behaviour
  • - connect the theoretical part of education with a real life.

Changing collective work (analysis of the sample lessons, discussion) and group work (giving opinions, suggesting solutions)
Assessment methods
To pass is necessary compulsory attendance a the final group project. The seminar is completed by fulfilling requirements.
