Study plan

Students must fulfil all requirements from the study plan and registered by the template in the Information System of Masaryk University. Then they are allowed to take the final state exam. The final state exam consists of four parts:
1. Defence of the thesis.
2. The pedagogical and psychological basis.
3. The part dealing with Czech studies (linguistics and literature).
4. The part dealing with didactics with the focus on Czech studies.
Defence of the thesis takes place before the board of examiners. Part 2 has a written form, its organization being a competence of the Department of Educational Sciences and of the Department of Psychology. Organization of parts 3 and 4, taking place in an oral form before the board of examiners, is a competence of the Department of Czech Language and of the Department of Czech Literature (questions are asked on the basis of topics available from websites of both participated departments focused on Czech studies). Topics follow basic and profile courses of the study programme.
