Study plan

The final state doctoral examination (SDE) includes examination of the knowledge coming from the broad kinanthropological field, as well as the knowledge of methodology (both general and specific for kinanthropology). Three interdisciplinary branches are examined here: anthropomotorics and biomechanics; physiology and sport medicine; psychology, philosophy, sociology and pedagogy of sport.
The process of SDE is controlled by the Study and Examination Regulations of Masaryk University (SER). It is described in Section 32. Before register for SDE a student must complete all the duties coming from Section 30 (1 and 4) in SER. The duties done by the study plan are these: completing compulsory subjects, language competence rules, rules for internationalization, publication outputs, getting minimal number of credits, and subjects d4101-4104 (Preparation of dissertation 1-4) and registering the subject of d4105 (Preparation of dissertation 5).
A student provides the thesis of dissertation which prove that the student completed the adequate part of dissertation preparations. The structure of thesis: objectives of the Research, working hypotheses, research questions, used methods, some parts of results with a short discussion, interpretations and pre-conclusions and supplements.
Before registering for the process of defence of dissertation a student must graduate from SDE, he/she must complete the subject of d4106 (Preparation of dissertation 6), and he/she must insert dissertation in the Information system according to the provided rules (they are updated in the faculty website). The characteristics of dissertation has already been provided before.
