Degree programme objectives
The aim of the study is to provide further professional growth of graduates of the Master's degree in economics focusing on the interest of business economics and management, especially by acquiring methods of scientific work, deepening of theoretical knowledges and approaches, developing of the skill effectively using extensive theoretical and factual information and developing of skill to solve technical problems in the field of enterprise economics and management individually, with an emphasis on the complexity and the theoretical reasons of the given solutions, including their practical application in enterprises.
The aim of the study is to educate a top specialist capable of independent creative scientific work in the field of business economics and management, which will be applied in theoretical or applied research or in the field of education of selected economic subjects.

- Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- knowledge: understand theories, approaches and methods in the field of business economics and management at the level of world knowledge;
- skills: can creatively use these theories, approaches and methods to solve complex tasks in the field of business economics and management not only in the theoretical but also practical;
- skills: can apply quantitative and qualitative research methods, including advanced statistical methods both in theoretical research in the field of business economics and management, as well as in solving the practical problems of the enterprise;
- competence: is able to contribute to the development of science of business economics and management;
- competence: is able to communicate on an international level its own knowledges to members of the scientific community and to practitioners;
- competence: is able to educate students in the field of business economics and management.
- Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of the Doctoral study program Business Economics and Management will apply to universities of economic and managerial orientation. Furthermore, as specialists or analysts in marketing departments, quality management departments, research and development departments, etc., in multinational companies, usually medium and large, or strong national societies or specialized consultancy and research organizations.
