Abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá vztahem intenzity vnímaných překážek a hrozbou nedokončení vysokoškolského studia. Výzkumný projekt je založen na výzkumu, který je zastřešen Masarykovou univerzitou, s cílem určit, mimo jiné, důvody pro ukončení studia před jeho úspěšným dokončením. Příspěvek se zaměřuje na studenty v prvním ročníku studia, protože první rok je označován jako období nejvyšší neúspěšnosti. Výzkum je jedinečný nejen komplexností a interdisciplinárním přístupem, ale také zaměřením se na studenty bakalářského studia a studenty kombinované formy studia, kteří jsou v českém výzkumu opomíjeni.

Abstract (in English)

The paper deals with the relation of the intensity of perceived barriers and the threat of not completing university studies. Research design is based on survey managed by Masaryk University in order to determine – among others – the reasons for leaving the studies before completion. The paper focuses on student in first year of their studies as the first year is a period of highest drop-out. The research is unique not only through its complexity and interdisciplinary approach, but also by focusing on students of bachelor study and students of combined form of study who are neglected in the Czech research.
