Abstract
Masaryk University has access to many well-known digital libraries e.g. Springer-Link, ACM Portal, IEEE etc. These electronic sources could be used for improving the quality of education but their effective deployment is quite problematic. This is why Masaryk University has started to develop a new system which should create a better integration of all of these electronic sources to education process. It has a web-based interface and provide better accessibility to potential users; it is designed as a highly modular system, which allows adding new components in the future. For analyses we used Unified Process with UML modeling. The structure of the system is designed according to Model View Controller and it is implemented as Java Servlets/JSP. The system also contains a natural language analyzer unit and an e-learning extension for education and the Web Services transparent cache for improving the performance.

Masarykova univerzita má přístup k mnohým z velmi známých elektronických knihoven např.: Springer-Link, ACM Portal, IEEE aj. Tyto elektronické zdroje mohou být využity pro zlepšování úrovně výuky, nicméně jejich efektivní využití naráží na jisté potíže. Z tohoto důvodu se Masarykova univerzita rozhodla vyvinout systém, který by lépe integroval všechny tyto elektronické zdroje ve výukovém procesu. Systém je velmi modulární, což umožňuje snadné přidávaní komponent. Pro návrh a vývoj systému byl použit Unified Process. Struktura systému je navržená podle MVC modelu. Systém rovněž obsahuje jednotku pro překlad přirozeného jazyka, e-learningový modul a Web Services transparentní cache.
