Progeny of apomictic hexaploid Hieracium bauhini and sexual hexaploid Hieracium pilosella were uniform. In progeny of pentaploid facultative apomictic Hieracium bauhini four different groups of progeny were found: pentaploids of apomictic origin, pentaploids of sexual origin (hybrids), octoploids of sexual origin (addition hybrids) and one triplod originated via haploid parthenogenesis.
