V originále
The paper presents a theoretical model of the Single Information Space for the Environment in Europe which enables to implement the vision for developing a Shared Environmental Information System which is developed by the European Environment Agency in collaboration with Eurostat, JRC and DG Environment for an integrated, modern, common, shared and sustained infrastructure for environmental information exchange in Europe. The proposed model is also implemented in practice to the collaborative information system ARROW validated in the case of evaluation of biodiversity of surface water required European Water Framework Directive.
