The nurses education in wound management in the Czech republic is still not very well arranged at the pregradual educational institutions. There are some special educational courses prepared in the lifelong learning but there is no central system provided. Aims: To evaluate the system of nurses education in wound management in the Czech Republic. To find out the similarities and diferences between the educational activities and the content of the education. Methods: Questionnaire survey and Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI). Results: We have been evaluated that the wound management education for nurses is not very well arranged at all the educational settings in the Czech Republic even if it is under the control of Ministry of Health. There are some variances especially concerning the content of the tuition (some courses are not focused on the nursing interventions and wound assesment or on the prevention of infection disseases etc.). There are also problems after the graduation of the courses. Nurses graduated in the courses could not work independently inspite of their certification from the course. There are some legislation obstacles. Conclusion: It is really necessary to prepare the centralize system of wound management nursing education in Czech Republic with connection to the clinical praktice with the good evaluation procedures as well.

Vzdělávní sester v ČR v managemnetu chornických ran není dostatečně propracováno na pregraduální úrovni. Většinou je vzdělávání uskutečňováno na úrovni celoživotního vzdělávání, ale bez centralizovaného systému. Cílem práce bylo zjistit zhodnotit systém vzdělávání ve wound nmanagementu v jednotlivých oslovených zdravotnických zařízeních. Šetření bylo prováděno pomocí dotazníku a pomocí CATI. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že většina zdravotnických zařízení nezajišťuje vzdělávání v oblasti hojení ran pro sestry a pokud ano, tak větčšinou jako kurzy - ústavní semináře a semináře zástupců firem distribuujících zdravotnické prostředky.
