The goal of this article is to analyse different possibilities of measuring competitiveness of a company and on this basis to formulate a specific method, which will be useful for evaluation of the subsidy effect on enterprise competitiveness. The first part of the paper examines some recent competitiveness research. The second part introduces the method for evaluation of the subsidy effect on enterprise competitiveness. The final part sums up the advantages and disadvantages of this method and presents its application in the near-term field research.
