Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zjistit jaké je povědomí o fenoménu Czenglish mezi středoškolskými učiteli angličtiny a jejich studenty a také to, do jaké míry rodný jazyk studentů - čeština - ovlivňuje jejich výsledky v angličtině, zejména v často chybných oblastech souvisejících s Czenglish. This diploma thesis aims to investigate awareness of the phenomenon of Czenglish among grammar school teachers of English and their students, as well as the extent to which learners' native language—Czech— affects their performance in English, especial-ly in commonly erroneous areas related to Czenglish. Zadání práce
The aim of this thesis is to raise awareness of the phenomenon of Czenglish among grammar school teachers of English and grammar school students. This thesis will first explore the current awareness and knowledge of the phenomenon among both the teachers and the students and then investigate to what extent do the teachers incorporate their own awareness of Czenglish into their teaching and how the students' awareness of Czenglish impacts their results. The investigation will be done through the methods of interviews with teachers, and  questionnaires and handouts completed by the students.
