This thesis investigates IT Service Management platforms, focusing on the way of how they enhance service delivery and efficiency. The thesis begins with a general introduction to ITSM and proceeds with comparisons of leading ITSM platforms. In the theoretical part, the thesis will focus on researching and analyzing ITSM practices and their application in various business environments. This section will cover how ITSM tools, typically used in complex business processes, can be adapted to smaller-scale applications. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of available platforms that support ITSM tools will be conducted, identifying the most suitable platform for the implementation of the reservation system.
In the practical part, a fully functional reservation system for padel tennis courts will be designed and implemented, using the selected platform. The system will integrate ITSM tools to improve efficiency and enhance the user experience. The outcome of the practical part will be a working application that allows users to reserve padel courts for selected times. This application will be available for real-time use, offering features like booking management, availability checks, and profile management. Additionally, an analysis of the business benefits of applying ITSM tools in this context will be included, demonstrating how they can improve both user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
