Abstract

Analýza správania jednotlivca je komplexná oblasť kybernetickej bezpečnosti. Meranie takýchto údajov môže byť náročné na pochopenie aj pre skúseného človeka. Vizualizácie týchto informácií by teda mohli zjednodušiť pochopenie údajov, poskytnúť viac náhľadov a prípadne odhaliť zaujímavé informácie, ktoré v pôvodných údajoch nebolo možné vidieť. Analyzing an individual's behavior is a complex field in cybersecurity. Measuring such data might be challenging to understand, even for an experienced person. Thesis description
The aim of the thesis will be an extension of a tool from the environment for the execution and evaluation of cyber security exercises of the KYPO CRP platform. The main goal will be to expand an existing tool for cluster analysis of participants' behavior in practical exercises with new functions. The work will be based on a tool developed by Jakub R. Mlynárik, which uses machine learning methods to search for clusters in events and user actions from cyber exercises. The practical part will be implemented in Angluar for the frontend, the backend part in Java Spring will communicate with Elasticsearch. The work will include extending and optimizing the visualizations and providing additional interactions over the available data. It will employ the principles of the OPTICS cluster algorithm. The theoretical part of the thesis will include the evaluation of the new version of the tool.
