This thesis aims to develop an improved prototype for the quality assurance (QA) reporting system used by Company X (hidden for confidentiality). The student will explore the commonly used approaches to the application of various visualization techniques to deliver valuable insights from QA-related data. Subsequently, the student will analyze the currently used solution in Company X and will identify areas for its improvement through the analysis of the existing system usage statistics and feedback from the current users. Based on these findings, the student will formulate a list of requirements of the users and take them into account in the subsequent design of a new software prototype, which will be one of the main outcomes of this thesis. It will be realized as a high-fidelity prototype created using the Figma tool. As part of the system enhancement in this research, the student will propose a concept for an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) system specifically designed for the QA domain. This ETL system will aim to prepare and process data utilized by the reporting system, with the goal of improving the overall system performance and responsiveness. In the last part of the thesis, the student will collect feedback on the improved prototype from the team involved in the development of the QA reporting system at Company X.
