Applicants should 1) be able to work independently 2) have interest in long-term projects (several semesters) 3) have good practical knowledge of C, C++, UNIX/Linux or Win/NT programming 4) have basic knowledge of English (written and spoken) 5) be able to work in teams Every applicant has to ask for permission from the head of HCI Laboratory - Ass.Prof.J.Sochor.

Course objectives
Students work in Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory and they participate in research of the various fields of virtual reality.
Syllabus
  • Laboratory of Human-Computer Interaction is a team project focused on new forms of multisensual interaction based on virtual reality techniques. The work concentrates on algorithmic and system problems of graphic interfaces, position detection, haptic feed-back, and their interconnection into a functional system. This course is based on a team work of the students on a research-driven problems.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka není rozvrhována. Studenti pracují podle vlastního uvážení a možností na úkolech zadaných vedoucím laboratoře HCI a PhD studenty. Studenti získávají kredity na základě samostatné práce.
