The course is geared for obligatory PE only.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Main class goals: - to train correct stareotypes of hunam locomotion - walking, running, going upstairs, cycling, rowing - sports activity focuses on the cardio-vascular system - regular checks of training burden during the performance - training of endurance and forcefulness - sports activity is suitable even for less trained students or for students with handicaps (obesity). Individual approach of the lecturer is another of its main aims
Syllabus
  • The contents: 1. Warm up, stretching 2. Machines available for the training: - running machine (simulation of running + regulation of burden) - cross machine (the whole locomotory system is involved) - stepper (simulation of walk upstairs - particulary legs are involved) - cycle machine (endurance training without excessive strain of joints) - rowing machine (endurance training focused on the upper part of the body) 3. The use of machine is supplemented with abdominal muscle training as well as muscles in arms and back muscles are trained 4. Final stretching, relaxation

The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
