- Abstract
- Following the Law of the European II - extended seminar, and its predecessor until 2026), Filip Křepelka offers in the second semester extended lessons of 12 seminars.
The topics will cover rules (founding treaties, case-law, secondary) law - all basic economic freedoms, selected economic and other policies, fundamental rights, accession, membership and possible withdraval.
The course relies on knowledge of theory, institutions, and procedures covered in the Law of the European I in its basic and extended form. - Learning outcomes
- Students will be capable to explain on an increased level legal framework of internal market, selected economic policies, fundamental rights and will understand legal problems of membership.
- Key topics
- 1. introduction internal market, free movement of goods - customs and taxes,
- 2. free movement of goods - regulations, 3. free movement of individuals - movement and residence, citizenship, foreigners, 4. free movement of individuals - employment, business, taxes, social security, 5. freedom of establishment - corporations, investing capital, payments, 6. free movement of services, 7. competition I - cartels, 8. competitition II - state aid etc., 9. fundamental rights in EU, 10. competences in EU, 11. membership, 12. discipline and hypothetical withdraval.

Oral exam based on selected / drafted question and discussion of the analysis.
