Course objectives
The opening propedeutic field of study focused on legal dogmatism and on the foundantions of legal thinking. The aim of the course is to understand and explain the basic concepts of Law Teory. The student is after making the course able to understand the structure of legal regulations and to applicate and interprete them.

  • The Conception, the Substance, Function of Law. Law-making. Sources of Law. Normative Agreements as Sources of Law. Legal Norm I. (Concept, Elements, Structure). Legal Norm II. (Characteristics of Legal Norms). Legal Regulation. Mechanism of Legal Regulation. Legal Acts. Application of Law. Interpretation of Law. Legal liability. System of Law and Guarantees of Law.

Assessment methods
After the lectures the students have discussion classes and practical seminars. The condition of gaining the credit is to deepen the basic theoretical knowledge and its application and the seminar assignment on the stated topic.
