The course is prepared for the students interesting in problems of right on life, its justification and protection.

Course objectives
At the end of course students should be able to:
-understand and explain the basic terms related to right to life;
-work with information on the solution of a chosen problem;
-create a draft of the protection of right to life (abortion, euthanasia, etc.)
Syllabus
  • -The explanation of basic categories: human rights, right to rights;
  • The contemporary discourse of right to life;
  • The explanation of rights to life in the EU and Czech Law;
  • The analyse of contemporary discourse about a)abortion; b) euthanasia;c) assistance of reproduction;d) manipulation of human gen;
  • Human rights and the legal interpretation;
  • Social rights and right to life;
