Prerequisites
The course is intended for the student interesting in the issue of human rights in general and especially with regard to the issue of interpretation of those fundamental rights, where a number of prejudices persist. These include the interpretation of the fundamental right to life, rights of the child and rights of the sexual minority (LGBT).

Course objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to:
critical reflection on established ways of interpreting the right to life, the rights of children and the rights of sexual or religious minorities;
identification of biases in the interpretation of fundamental rights;
developing one's own argumentative strategy for interpreting specific cases in the field of fundamental rights protection.
Learning outcomes
At the end of course students should be able to:
critically reflect on the usual ways of interpreting the right to life, the rights of children and the rights of sexual or religious minorities;
identify prejudices in the interpretation of fundamental rights;
create their own argumentation strategies for the interpretation of specific cases in the field of fundamental rights protection.
