- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
- Topics stated in the syllabus are introduced to the students in the form of a presentation. Various practical activities are planned for the students and will be obligatory to achieve credits. These practical activities will use available information technology and will focus on e.g., case reports from the real clinical practice. Degustation of herbal infusions is planned to enliven the end of the semester.
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- Credit will be granted upon fulfilment of the following requirements: attendance, preparation for practicals, students' semestral work, midterm and final tests. Tests are written or taken on a computer. The midterm test contains 10 questions from lectures and practicals 1-3, and the final test contains 20 questions from other topics covered in lectures and exercises during the spring semester. There is only one correct answer for each question. Students must obtain at least 60% (6 points from the midterm test and 12 points from the final test).
- Alternate completion
- In the event of a prolonged period of absence, it is necessary to discuss the substitution with the teacher.
