Course objectives
At the end of the course students are able to understand main pharmacological mechanisms of drug actions and their combinations leading to therapeutic, adverse and toxic effects of drugs including drug addiction.
Syllabus
  • LECTURE (24th September 2010, 1.00-2.40 p.m.):
  • Drug classification.
  • Mechanisms of drug effects.
  • Basic principles of pharmacokinetics.
  • Drug interactions.

Teaching methods
The curriculum enables attendance at lectures read by teachers of pharmacology.
Assessment methods
During the studying the student has to prove active knowledge of pharmacology acquired. The student has to pass the final multiple-choice test - colloquium.
