Course objectives
Physical therapy introduces students of physiotherapy to natural and artificial physical sources. Thera are physical factors like the effect of warm and could temperature, sun-irradiations, mechanical factors,lasser therapy, ultrasound therapy, magnetic therapy, balneotherapy, and others.

  • General physical therapy application principles, general effects and general indications
  • Physiotherapy and organism reaction to physical impulses
  • Impact of heat on organism, thermoregulation physiology
  • Heat production and its loss & Heat procedures
  • Total heat application, types of baths, contraindication of habitual heat application
  • Physiologic effect of heat baths, its use therapy
  • Underwater massage, additive baths, sauna
  • Local heat applications, types of procedures
  • Local heat application effect, indication and contraindication
  • Effect of cold on organism, general and local reaction to cold
  • Total kryotherapy, local kryotherapy, indication and contraindication
