Course objectives
At the end of the course students will know the drug dosage forms, application routes, drug information sources and research and development of drugs. They can make pharmacology calculations.

Students will know the drug dosage forms, application routes, drug information sources and process associated with development of drugs. They will be able to make pharmacology calculations.

  • SEMINAR:
  • Drug dosage forms and application routes.
  • Drug information sources (SUKL, pharmacopoea, AISLP, EMA).
  • Legislation on drug regulation.
  • Research and development of drugs, clinical drug evaluation, registration.
  • Pharmacological calculations.
  • Credit.

Teaching methods
According to schedule given students are expected to attend lectures and practicals provided by pharmacology teacher. Students are expected to play active role during a lesson and show interest in a topic.
Assessment methods
Students are expected to prepare for lessons in advance. To receive credits students are obliged to attend all lessons.
