- Course objectives
- Branch-based didactics represents a completion of the pedagogical and psychological education and prepares the students for successful command of pedagogical practice. Didactics is a continuation of the general pedagogical subjects; however, it is concerned with specific problems of instruction in courses devoted to the theme of Human Nutrition. At the end of the course students should be able to apply educational and learning theories including health promotion strategies.

- Syllabus
- The lectures contain the following main topics: Incorporation of problems related to nutrition into the system of education. Educational programmes, standards of basic curricular content and secondary education. Preparation of the teacher for instruction. Didactic analysis of the curriculum. A survey and application of teaching methods. Application of principles and rules in the solution of teaching-related situations. Problems of diagnostics and evaluation of the body of knowledge, skills, and habits of pupils and students. The personality of the teacher (lecturer) of health-care subjects and courses.
