Course objectives
Emergency medicine for medical rescuers is a profiling theoretical and practical subject. Its aim is to prepare students both theoretically and practically for the profession of medical rescuer, member of the emergency rescue service team or hospital urgent hospital team.
Learning outcomes
The learning outcome of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of pharmacotherapy in emergency medicine, primarily based on individual acute conditions (anaphylaxis, ACS, asthma, tachycardia, and others). Additionally, the student is capable of systematically managing medical documentation, drafting a negative consent form with the patient, or knowing the criteria for leaving a patient at the scene.In the second part of the course, the student participates in simulation-based training sessions, which integrate not only theoretical and practical knowledge but also focus on developing soft skills.

Teaching methods
Discussion, practical training, simulation-based learning, team-based learning, case studies.
Assessment methods
Attendance at the exercises is mandatory in its entirety (100%). In case of absence, it is necessary to report it through the study department. The course will be completed by submitting a semester paper in which the student will process a selected topic. Each student will also submit processed medical documentation for a selected case.
